So sorry to hear about Tia's passing. We got a chance to see her (& her canine companion) in early Oct....what a beauty she is. No doubt she's running & playing her heart out now. Thank you, Best Friends, for making her as comfortable as possible and reminding her that she is loved.

So sorry to hear Tia passed. I got to see her when I was there at the beginning of Oct. and she walked around a little but was very unsteady and very slow......understandably. I had heard she had bad pneumonia and things were touch and go.........:o(* * *

I believe she had a genetic disorder that caused holes to form in her bones which was understandibly very painful for her. She was freed to run healthy and happy again at the Bridge.

Many thanks to cwiley, phoenixstrength, and chattykatty for the info on Tia. Not knowing the circumstances is always frustrating. Run free and and healthy little Tia.

I know that while I was there over Labor day weekend, they had just gotten here and she had all kinds of medical issues. From what I heard, she's a miniature horse, but she's a dwarf miniature and her body was just a mess. She couldn't even walk when they first got her, but she got well enough that from what I understand she was walking - not long distances or anything. She was just the cutest thing I had ever seen and Clyde seemed to like to watch over her. It was amusing - the largest and smallest right next to each other was one heck of a sight. I am so sorry to hear that she passed over the bridge, but was pretty much expecting it unfortunately. Just one of the "hidden horrors" behind the breeding of miniatures horses. God bless Tia - run and play to your hearts content now baby girl!

I know when I was there in September they were worried about whether or not she would make it because she had severe pnuemonia.

Wow - how gorgeous. Though I remember having hair like that in the 80s, but it didn't look as good on me!
